An exciting job opportunity has arisen at Leeds United FC for a Ticketing & Hospitality System Administrator based at our stunning Elland Road Stadium.

This role will be responsible for utilising the functionality with the SeatGeek ticketing system, ensuring continued development as well as the coordination of system testing and implementation of new system features to maximise sales and revenue opportunities whilst ensuring a seamless online user experience.

The role will aim to:

  • Ensure the Club remains at the forefront of technical advances in ticket sales through back office and online including customer journey.
  • Develop ultimate utilisation of all functionality within the SeatGeek ticketing platform to maximise sales and revenue opportunities.
  • Maximise efficiency and reduce costs for the overall ticketing business.
  • Implement the latest SeatGeek functionality to drive the ultimate fan experience and to make the process of purchasing tickets the easiest it can be for both online and back-office sales.

Some of the main duties would include:

  • Manage and assist with the set-up of all fixtures and events in the ticketing system.
  • Maintain the ticketing and hospitality system for all fixtures and events at Elland Road
  • Input into the ticketing and hospitality strategy and oversee the implementation of the system elements of the strategy.
  • Work with the ticketing product owner to map out the system developments in line with the agreed strategy and departmental objectives.
  • To maximise the Clubs commercial and cross-sell opportunity and generate sales proactively.
  • Undertake system led processes such as ballot applications, auto renewals, cup schemes in an effective and efficient manner.
  • To oversee and plan any ticketing system training and development needs on behalf of the Ticketing and Hospitality team.
  • Manage and log any cases with the SeatGeek helpdesk.
  • Develop and maintain the whole online ticketing customer journey for general admission and hospitality ticket sales.
  • Understand departmental objectives to create a roadmap of product development that delivers against this whilst being aligned to wider product strategies.
  • Manage the testing and implementation process of new ticketing functionality. Test and experiment with all new digital technologies that may further enhance the fan experience and / or online revenue generation across all ticketing and hospitality inventory.
  • To prepare regular Ticketing and Hospitality reports and analysis.
  • Explore all SeatGeek functionality to ensure that we are using the platform to it’s full potential.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to become a trusted champion within the business.
  • Liaise with other clubs and other key industry colleagues to share knowledge and best practise with a view to implementing any good practise within our club.

The Strategy Department at Leeds United is working to help tackle some of our most important long-term projects on both the footballing and business side of the club. We are looking for individuals who combine intellectual curiosity, strategic and financial analysis capability, and effective communication to help us plan and execute key initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Create and manage financial forecasting models for use in football strategic planning (e.g. squad planning and financial / Profit-and-Sustainability forecasting); general business strategic planning; and perhaps most of all the financing, design, and pricing of a stadium expansion effort.
  2. Provide ad-hoc analyses as needed on additional topics as needed.

Required Relevant Experiences:

  1. At least 3+ years and preferably 5+ years of professional experience in financial planning and/or strategic analysis, including presenting key findings to management stakeholders. 
  2. The ability to build, manage, and communicate the contents of financial models is absolutely required. 

Technical Skills & Experience we are looking for

We currently have an opportunity for a casual Academy Matchday Co-ordinator at our fantastic Academy based at our training grounds in Wetherby. This is a great opportunity for driven individuals who relish a challenge and are driven to succeed in a fast and innovative environment.

The casual Academy Matchday Co-ordinator is responsible for coordinating home match day activities, for U9 to U21 Academy teams, to ensure a professional and well organised experience for all players, staff, officials, and spectators.

Act as the main point of contact on match days, this role requires close liaison with Academy Operations and Coaching staff both pre- and post-match, and accurate communication with key stakeholders.

Flexibility to work across weekends and over the course of the season will be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Match Day Coordination of 9-21s fixtures at Thorp Arch Training Ground as required 
  • Work collaboratively with security and match day staff to offer support and guidance as required to ensure match day operations run smoothly. This includes parking, site access, visitors, management of Academy controlled areas and staff and player access only areas.
  • Act as a first point of contact for the arrival of visiting teams on match days and meet and greet away team staff and players.
  • Meet and greet match officials, and facilitate referees’ briefings
  • Manage spectators and supporters with appropriate guidance and direction to pitches, toilets and refreshments.
  • Monitor scout’s attendance
  • Support completion, sharing and distribution of team sheets between teams and relevant officials within required time frames.
  • Ensure implementation of the club’s health & safety, safeguarding, welfare and equality policies to create a safe working environment for all
  • Monitor adherence to player, parent, and spectator codes of conduct in place at the Academy
  • Report any incidents/Safeguarding concerns immediately to the Academy Manager/Operations Manager or Safeguarding and Well Being Lead.
  • Act as match day Designated Safeguarding Officer reporting any concerns using our online reporting application “My Concern” and liaising with the Academy safeguarding and Well Being Lead.

We currently have an opportunity for an Academy Doctor at our fantastic training ground. The Academy Doctor is responsible for overseeing, delivering, and developing the Academy Medical Programme to ensure a first-class player experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Take responsibility for the decision making and management of general medical issues, including onward referral for investigation, consultation, and treatments where appropriate within the academy squads

·       Cover acute GP related issues within academy squad including urgent out of hours queries

·       Oversee the implementation of medical screening as per EPPP requirements to include testing to facilitate recruitment activity

·       Support academy physiotherapists in management of musculoskeletal complaints

·       Diagnose and manage ongoing COVID infections within the academy, including symptom checking and cardiac screening where appropriate

·       Oversee all academy concussion cases from u9-u21 including doctor clearance prior to stage 2 and stage 5 and ensuring that baseline SCAT and IMPACT tests are completed

·       Act as Academy Covid-19 medical-officer to co-ordinate protocols and responses where there are positive cases.

·       Provide regular cover for Under 18s games and cover where appropriate for Under 21 games.

·       Provide oversight on academy mental health issues including follow up, ongoing support and referral where appropriate. Liaising with safeguarding, player care and performance psychology.

·       Organise cardiac screening for u15s and scholars. Review all cardiac questionnaires and co-ordinate additional screening for follow up scans and relevant international players with the club cardiologist.

·       Implement medicines management policy within academy allowing for common medications to be stocked upstairs and dispensed appropriately with documentation.

·       Co-ordinate academy blood screening programmes in conjunction with Nutritionist and PL recommendations.

·       Co-ordinate academy supplementation in conjunction with Nutritionist

·       Interpret and manage blood testing results

·       Co-ordinate academy vaccination programmes where appropriate as per PL handbook e.g., Hepatitis B screening and 3 course vaccinations, influenza, covid (where appropriate)

·       Ensuring trauma bags are appropriately stocked as per PL regulations including ordering and regular checking of medications and kit

·       Responsible for the preparation for the Emergency Action Plan at all Academy Home games

·       Lead academy trauma moulage scenarios on a weekly basis

·       Provide back-up cover as tunnel doctor for 1st team games

·       Provide cross cover if 1st team doctor absent

Aim of Role: To respond immediately to any medical emergencies that present on a matchday in a professional manner.

Duties and responsibilities:

·       To remain in the location allocated unless directed otherwise

·       To attend briefings on each matchday and any training sessions as required by the club

·       Ability to recognise and manage common first aid conditions

·       Competency in basic life support as set out in the Resuscitation Council Guidelines including the use of AEDs

·       Competency in the manual handling or extrication of patients in a sports ground environment

·       Informing your supervisor of further assistance if needed

·       To maintain accurate records of medical notes

·       Have an understanding of safeguarding of children and adults at risk

·       Ability to understand and communicate in verbal and written instructions in English

SUMMARY OF ROLE: 

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Academy Physical Development Coach at our fantastic training ground. The Academy Physical Development Coach responsible for leading the delivery of the Academy Physical Development Programme to ensure a first-class player experience for players across in the Under 18 age group of the academy and assisting with the delivery of the Academy Physical Development Programme for the rest of the players.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Deliver the academy physical development programme for players in the Under 18 age group 
  • Work closely with the Academy Physiotherapy Department on rehabilitation, injury prevention
    and load management.

  • A minimum of 2 years experience coaching youth athletes

SUMMARY OF ROLE: 

We currently have an opportunity for a Fixed Term Part Time Academy Goalkeeping Coach at our fantastic training ground. As a part-time goalkeeper coach for Leeds United, you will be responsible for training and developing our goalkeepers, helping them improve their skills and performance level. You will work closely with other goalkeeper coaches, age group coaches and other members of the MDT to create and implement training programs tailored to our goalkeepers' needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and conduct training sessions focused on each goalkeepers needs. 
  • Analyse goalkeepers' performances and provide constructive feedback. 
  • Collaborate with the coaching staff to integrate goalkeeping strategies into overall team tactics/sessions. 
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in goalkeeping ideas and strategies. 
  • Foster a positive and motivating environment for goalkeepers to thrive. 
  • Participate in team meetings, sessions, and debriefings. 
  • Maintain high levels of professionalism and adhere to club policies, procedures, and code of conduct. 
  • Oversee the trialist’s who enter the coaching sessions providing suitable evaluation and feedback during the signing / exit policy. 
  • Ensure the Intelligence Platform (IP) is completed and up to date. 
  • To provide the necessary environment for young goalkeepers to learn. 
  • Plan, prepare, deliver and evaluate coaching sessions in accordance with the Academy 
  • goalkeeping syllabus 
  • Plan and deliver the performance reviews on a six weekly basis to all the young goalkeepers 
  • and perform a number of administrative tasks to ensure that each goalkeeper’s progress is 
  • appropriately recorded on the Academy IP.
