Foundation launch National Fitness Day challenge

Foundation launch National Fitness Day challenge

Take part in annual fitness campaign.

The Leeds United Foundation will be showing their support for National Fitness Day on Wednesday 20th September, and they are encouraging as many supporters as possible to get involved in the annual campaign.

In 2022 National Fitness Day saw more than 22 million people across the UK inspired to be active, including more than 11 million children all taking part. The theme for the annual event this year is ‘Your Health is for Life’ which will aim to encourage people of all walks of life to recognise and celebrate the life-long physical and mental benefits of being active.

Members of the Health and Wellbeing team at the club’s foundation would like as many people to take on their simple Leeds Salute challenge on Wednesday, which takes just 30 seconds meaning everyone should be able to take the time to get involved and think about the benefits of even doing something small and manageable each and every day.

The challenge is to see how many Leeds Salutes you can complete in a 30-second period, and this can be performed seated, standing or even hopping on the spot for an extra challenge. If you do take part in the challenge, please share it on social media using the #LUFCNFD.
