AMT Auto host Foundation fundraiser match
The company sponsor our pan disability programme.
Leeds United partner AMT Auto recently hosted a special charity football match, donating £1,000 from the event to the Leeds United Foundation.
The vehicle solution specialists supported the club’s official charity earlier in the year, sponsoring our pan disability programme, with youngsters from the programme also invited to be mascots at the charity event, which was held on Saturday 1st June.
The funds raised and donated to the Leeds United Foundation will have a huge impact on the charity and its initiatives, helping and allowing the Foundation to expand and develop delivery, impacting more lives for the better across the Leeds region.
Sedi Acolatse, Branch Manager (London Rental) at AMT Auto, said: “Following the success of AMT’s Charity Football Match last year, it was only right we did it again. With the partnership between Leeds United and AMT, we felt it was right we joined forces with the Leeds United Foundation.
“The Foundation continue to do fantastic work within the Leeds community and we at AMT wanted to help and contribute to this. Vicky and her team have been a joy to work with and just being able to help out where possible makes all the effort worth it.”
The Leeds United Foundation Fundraising and Events Officer, Vicky Conning, added: “We are hugely grateful to everyone at AMT Auto for supporting the Leeds United Foundation once again and for donating funds from their charity event to help continue our work.”
The club’s official charity aims to use the power of football to enhance the lives of people across the region and beyond through initiatives focused on education, sport, and healthier lifestyles. Over the past year, around 70,000 participants have been involved in our different programmes – providing more than 500,000 hours of activity.
