Chelsea: Supporter information

Chelsea: Supporter information

Important information for travelling fans.

Ahead of our Premier League game against Chelsea at the weekend, the club wanted to provide supporters travelling to Stamford Bridge with some useful information for their trip.

The turnstiles will open from 1pm on Saturday, two hours ahead of kick-off (3pm), and we are urging our fans to arrive as early as possible to make sure everyone makes it into their seats in time. Alcohol is not permitted on the streets surrounding Stamford Bridge, but it will be on sale in the away concourses’ pre-match and at half-time. This provision will only be removed due to anti-social behaviour from fans.

On arrival at the stadium, Chelsea will be operating a three-phase entry system – including searches, to try and keep supporters as safe as possible. The first phase will be holding fans at Stamford Gate, before releasing them to the ticket check point, and the final phase will then be the queuing system through the turnstiles.

There is a zero-tolerance approach to discriminatory chanting and hate crimes at Stamford Bridge, any supporters who are caught using abusive language will be removed and arrests will be made where necessary.

Chelsea Football Club have also provided a useful document for all visiting supporters, which can be viewed here.
