Leeds United Trio Named in Rob Page\'s Wales Squad

Red Dragons set to face Gibraltar and Croatia

Rob Page announced his Wales' squad on Wednesday afternoon, ahead of their upcoming games against Gibraltar and Croatia this month, with Ethan Ampadu, Dan James and Joe Rodon all included.

Ampadu has played every minute of Leeds' 12 league and cup games so far this season, impressing with several performances, picking up the club's Player of the Month award for August.

Rodon has been a rock at the heart of the Leeds defence this season, and has not conceded in his last six games for club and country. The centre back, on loan from Tottenham, most recently played in the 1-0 win over QPR on Wednesday night.

Winger Dan James has featured nine times for Leeds this season, helping the side with four assists in the league, including two against Watford.

The sell-out match against Gibraltar (Wednesday 11th October) marks Cymru’s return to the world’s oldest international football stadium, having first hosted a Cymru international home match in 1877.

Rob Page will then face a tough test against UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying round group leaders Croatia on Sunday 15th October. The two sides met in Cymru’s opening match of the qualifying campaign back in March, where a debut goal for Nathan Broadhead secured a valuable point out in a 1-1 draw out in Split.
